Scholl Orthaheel: Maud's storyTested: Scholl Orthaheel Flip Flop Sandals
Last summer, keen traveller Maud Genet started suffering pain in her lower back and ankles. At the same time, the 33-year-old logistics manager noticed the soles of her shoes were wearing down unevenly.
It wasn’t until a girl’s night out, however, that Maud discovered what was occurring.
“I had some girlfriends over one night,” says Maud, “and we were all swapping body aches and problems...which is when I mentioned my lower back and ankle pain.”
“One of my girlfriends said I might need an orthotic,” says Maud. “So I did a bit of research and as it turned out, I was over-pronating, which can lead to lower back and ankle pain.”
“The fact that I was over-pronating made perfect sense,” says Maud. “It had always bothered me that my leg alignment wasn’t great and I was quite self-conscious about it when I went out in a skirt.”
Maud’s internet research revealed that a simple orthotic could correct her problems. She found one of the best ones on the market was the Scholl Orthaheel orthotic flip flop sandals.
“The Orthaheel flip flop sandals were perfect,” says Maud. “Not only could I get rid of my alignment problems, but I could also get a nice pair of sandals out of it!”
Since using the Orthaheel, Maud says that her lower back and ankle pain has vanished and her leg alignment is much better.
“I can now go out in my summery skirts with the confidence that my legs look fabulous,” says Maud. “And the fact that the pain has gone as well just ticks all the boxes.”
