Scholl Orthaheel Footwear Range

The Scholl Orthaheel Footwear range has been developed to help control the position and the motion of the feet and so reduce the amount of pronation that takes place. Excess pronation can lead to stresses affecting the tissues of the feet, legs and even the lower back and can lead to some common aches and pains. Scholl Orthaheel technology has been developed to help reduce the stresses of walking that can lead to pain.

The Scholl Orthaheel Footwear range can help with:

• Pain at the back of the heel
• Knee pain
• Positive benefits for some with lower back pain

The Scholl Orthaheel Footwear incorporates the Scholl Orthaheel technology in one of two ways:

• A range of footwear that have been specifically designed for use with the Scholl Orthaheel Full Length Orthotic Insert, which is included in each pair of shoes. These shoes have been developed to work alongside the orthotic insert to give comfort and support and to help reduce the stresses that can lead to aches and pains. The sole of the shoes are designed to give increased stability and support underfoot, supporting the orthotic as it reduces the amount of pronation. The upper part of the shoe is comfortable to wear and stylish.
• A range of sandals and open footwear with Scholl Orthaheel technology incorporated into the footbed. This range of footwear has been developed to overcome the problem that orthotic inserts cannot be put into open footwear. The shaped footbed fits closely to the bottom of the foot, held in place by stylish straps or fastenings, and has been designed to affect the position and motion of the foot to reduce the amount of pronation that takes place when they are worn.
