Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment is a ‘All-in-One” system involving two phases: firstly an intensive treatment phase to kill the fungus, and then a protection phase which continues until the nail heals fully:

First phase - Intensive treatment period designed to kill the fungus in the nail.
The first step in the treatment phase is to use the single-use abrasive file once weekly to remove the top layers of the infected nail.
Step 2 of the treatment phase is to apply the Advanced Nail Liquid, daily for a total of 4 weeks. The liquid forms a protective film and helps prevent the spread of infection. The liquid also penetrates through the nail and changes its environment to one that is inhospitable to the fungi. After 4 weeks of treatment the fungi should be killed and the intensive treatment phase is complete.
Second phase - Protection Phase:
After the nail fungus has been killed, the nail is free to grow-out and return to its natural appearance. However, due to the extensive length of time this can take, it is important to continue to protect the nails so recurrence of the infection does not occur.
This Protection Phase should be continued until the nail has fully grown out and no visual signs of the infection are seen. Toenails can take 9-12 months to grow out.
