Do I have cracked heels?

Cracked heels can vary from minor cracks in the surface of the skin to very deep cracks.

Minor cracks tend not to be painful but the appearance of the heels can be unattractive. The deeper the cracks become the more likely they are to cause discomfort and the very deep cracks may be very painful and may bleed or become infected.
